The Second preparation camp to choose members of Tehran province expedition to Gasherbrum II in Karakoram will be held on "Shah Alborz" zone of Taleqan from 6th to 8th of February.
 The First preparation test of mentioned expedition started on Thursday January 31 in "Shirpala" hut in "Tochal" mountain with the presence of 31 selected mountaineers of groups and clubs of different cities of Tehran province under supervision of "Mehdi Etemadfar" and "Hussain Nazar".
"The expedition will leave Tehran in June 2008 toward Karakoram", Kaveh kashefi, the head manager of the Mountaineering Council of Tehran province told IMZ News department.
"Holding preparatory camps and choosing the members of the expedition should be organized by Tehran Mountaineering Council, before Mountaineering Federation and Physical Education Organization confirm the expedition departure", he added.
Kashefi told, "The second camp will be held in "Shah Alborz" zone of Taleqan on February 6th to 8th, while the participants should take their physical fitness test in Enqelab Sport Complex afterward". There will be seven preparatory tests in total to choose expedition members.
"for the first time, we called the mountaineers to participate in these camps through sending invitation to mountaineering groups, clubs and associations of Tehran province. We were going to appreciate team working", he continued.
As kashefi said, one of the main objectives of these preparatory camps is to reduce the stress and increase the body strength under tough circumstances. Interaction between participants and instructors who are subject to change, is the other goal, due to Kashefi´s comments.
So far, 40 people have attended in the test, while the expedition will compose of 9 members.
It is said that supporting Tehran province to delegate its Expedition to Gasherbrum II, is some part of de-centralizing policy of "Shoaei", new president of Iran Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation.
"Confirming to support the expedition, Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation and Physical Education Organization will afford the major part of the expenses. Though, some part of the expenses should be paid by participants", Kashefi reported.

Alpine Club of Iran published issue no. 14 of its periodical bulletin. The main part of this issue is devoted to analysis of mountaineering accidents, where in addition of special "Analytical report", the report of 16 accidents with the analysis of the causes is considered.
 There are also articles about working with GPS, Migraine and altitude, navigation in bad weather, notes about search and rescue and news about accident cases in 2006-07 according to Alpine Club of Iran, IMZ news department reports.
In another report, a list of books and articles related to accidents and search and rescue in the mountain is considered that can be useful for interested people and researchers. Another part of this issue is devoted to received reports and articles of "woman and mountain" congress that held on 9th and 10th of November 2006. The congress was the biggest ever meeting of Iranian woman mountaineers.
Mountaineering report of this issue is devoted to the account of the first complete traverse of ´Sarakchal´ to ´Azadkooh´ skyline that was accomplished in winter 2007.
