Entrance test for IMF’s “level 2 - Ice & Snow Instruction” course

Mountaineering Committee of Iran Mountaineering Federation is going to hold entrance test for IMF’s “Level 2 – Ice & Snow Instruction” in Hassandar valley in Middle Alborz during May 12 and 13, 2007. All interested level 3 - Ice & Snow Instructors, should apply in mountaineering councils before April 9, 2007. It is necessary to each applicant to participate in the test with full equipment for climbing an ice wall, according to IMF’s announcement.

Advance Ice & Snow Course to be hold for women

Mountaineering Committee of Iran Mountaineering Federation is going to hold “Advance Ice & Snow Course” for women in Hassandar valley in Middle Alborz during April 27 to 30, 2007. All interested women, who have passed “Elementary Ice & Snow Course”, should apply in mountaineering councils before April 9, 2007. It is necessary to each applicant to participate in the 4-day course with full equipment, according to IMF’s announcement.

Mina Roosta to head for Mera Peak

Mina Mansour Roosta a lady member of Damavand ski and mountaineering club of Tehran left Tehran on Sunday March 18 to head for Mera peak in Himalaya. Summitting Island peak in Nepal last year, she headed for Mera peak alone this year too.
